Why is refrigerator running longer than usual
If the unit is switched on for the first time, it might run longer to attain the set temperature.
If the refrigerator or freezer door is kept open for longer periods of time, the refrigerator will keep running to attain the set temperature.
If the cooling is set at a higher level, the refrigerator will run longer to attain the set temperature.
